Nacho Divan Sanchez Liberty High School Rotary Student of the Month

Congratulations to Nacho Divan Sanchez, Hillsboro Rotary Club Student of the Month from Liberty High School! Staff and students were delighted to celebrate his award at their weekly meeting, along with his guests, parents Mario Divan and Laura Sanchez, and Spanish teacher Ms. Sylvia Weir. Nacho was born in Argentina, and moved to the US four years ago. He expressed gratitude to his teachers, new friends and community for welcoming him with the support he needed to thrive in a new country and speak English. He loves the people and culture here, and is grateful to be chosen as student of the month. Ms. Weir comments that he is a bright and kind person. After graduation, Nacho plans to further his education and pursue an engineering degree. We wish Nacho all the best in his future endeavors. You make us proud to be HSD!
