Liberty Ceramics Students Earn Top Honors at Regional Showcase

Liberty High School ceramics students achieved outstanding success at the Oregon Potters Association Ceramic Showcase, held April 24–26 at the Oregon Convention Center. The annual event features artists from across the Northwest and highlights student talent through its High School and Scholarship Galleries.

In the High School Gallery, which included participants from 23 area high schools, Liberty students earned two of the three top awards. Axel Weeks received 1st Place, and Mariam Trevino Rodriguez earned 2nd Place.

Liberty students also swept all four awards in the Scholarship Gallery. Axel Weeks and Noelia Vigil each received top honors along with $1,000 scholarships. Victoria Haraden and Lauren Dupree were recognized with Honorable Mention.
