Evelyn Cisneros is Liberty High School's Rotary Student of the Month

Congratulations to Evelyn Cisneros from Liberty High School who is Hillsboro Rotary Club Student of the Month. Evelyn received her award certificate accompanied by LHS teachers Sharon Kerbs and Stacey Hutchinson, and her aunt Yazmin Hernandez. In her sophomore year at Liberty, Evelyn found strength and determination knowing she had a better future ahead in the AVID program (Advancement Via Individual Determination). Through AVID she gained academic tools and a sense a belonging and confidence. Evelyn is now involved clubs, including MEChA and Chicas Adelantes, and is passionate about helping others, especially those on a similar path. After graduation Evelyn plans to continue her education with dual enrollment at PCC and PSU, pursuing a career in healthcare. We wish her all the best in the years to come!
